Hello there, I am very interested in your system and plan to attend your next scheduled webinar. However I visited the preferred tradestation website and found it and tutorials very confusing. I thought I might have been able to familiarise myself with it in advance but I was not successful and I am concerned about not being able to apply the system once it is purchased due to my learning curve on this new system. How extensive does your training go into the actual platform?

NetPicks Reply: Using Tradestation is not very difficult — if you’ve used any other charting platform before you’ll probably find it very easy. However, if you’ve never worked with a charting platform and datafeed before then yes, you’ll have a bit more of a learning curve. However, it’s quite doable and everyone starts out in that position at some point if they are just getting started. We’ll look for you at the webinar. Thanks.

You offer 2 different packages, the simple 1 and 2 and the ultimate. Is there any difference between the software between the 2 packages?

NetPicks Reply: You get the latest and the greatest when you start (which is the 2.0) and as a bonus you would still get the 1.0 version of the strategy which works well in certain situations which we discuss in the training. There is just one featured course & strategy which is what you are seeing detailed here. Thanks.

I just bought the UMT system and would like to know if you still offer the two months free trial for Tradestation?

NetPicks Reply: Tradestation gives us that offer at times, and at times they take it away. Right now it is not a current offer but we are working with them on bringing it back. You can however receive Tradestation for no charge (outside of exchange fees) by opening an account there and trading a minimum of trades. It is one alternative to avoid the subscription fee.

I was wondering if it is possible to get UMT for CQG? Was also wondering how it works for soft commodities?

NetPicks Reply: The custom indicators will not work on CQG — they do work on platforms such as Tradestation, eSignal, Ninjatrader and MetaTrader. As for soft commodities – the answer is yes on that. Thanks.

I’m used to using trading on Ninja Trader for futures and forex. Will your indicators “paint” the same on Ninja Trader when compared to Tradestation or Esignal. Maybe you could rank the charting packages in terms of performance, Ninja Trader, Esignal, Tradestation, Metatrader, 1 being the Best. Maybe you can provide me the cost of each charting package.

NetPicks Reply: There is some “visual” difference between the various platforms. My suggestion would be since you’ve been using Ninja to possibly take a free trial of something like Tradestation (we can help you arrange that) and then just compare them– see what you personally like best. People have various opinions on that. Thanks.
