Hello.

I am interested in trading stocks, but was always told I need at least 10,000. I want to start off small to get start and learn the markets. How much should I start out with realistically?

Our Reply: It depends if you want to daytrade stocks or swing trade. To day trade you are going to need $25,000. For swing trading you can start with $10K, and it's possible to at least get started with as little as $5,000 but that's really the lowest you'd want to even consider. You might also want to think about trading options instead of the stock -- buying puts and calls instead of the stock would enable you to start more easily with the lower starting balance.

Sorry, that was netpick.com

NetPicks Reply: Ule, use the email name you have and then @netpicks.com -- you need the 's' on the end not @netpick.com Thanks.

I've spent the weekend reviewing a number of your archived webinars, trade videos, and reviewing your website(s).

"Gosh", I'm a bit confused... UMT core, UMT S1, UMT S2....

Owners club, Mastery series, Live 2-day training, Mentoring, Live trading rooms, the Ultimate package...

netpicks.com, umttrading.com, www.universalmarkettrader.com...

Suggestion: It would be great to see a menu of your offerings, side-by-side for comparison sake.

I've mentally compiled a lengthy list of questions regarding your offerings and system. What would be the most efficient way to address these?

Thanks in advance,

RS

NetPicks Reply: Thanks for the questions. As you can imagine, since we've been around since 1996 over time products/services evolve and get updated. Right now the most current, and all you need to concern yourself with is the latest Universal Market Trader system (we actually for current owners call it 2.0 since it was a significant upgrade from the 2007 version) - but for your purposes it is the latest and the greatest. We then do have options to add-on coaching/mentoring but that is something you can decide on later if you feel it could benefit you. What you see us discuss in our live webinars and on this blog is the full fledged strategy and training and it is what you'd be interested in. Hope that helps clear it up!

Hello:

I use TradeStation. Is UMT an indicator or a strategy? Can it be used to trade automatically?

Thanks,

John

NetPicks Reply: No automatic trading but the strategy will do almost all the heavy lifting -- setting up the entry, target, stop - you will still need to actually make the trade though which we think is important. Thanks.

I trade forex with metatrader. Does your software work on metatrader platform without having to use tradestation? Does that include your new profit window feature. If I decide to open a tradestation account do I have to pay for another download of your software or is that included in the original price. Are upgrades free?

NetPicks Reply: Don, hello thanks for the questions. Yes, it does work on Metatrader 4. The new "Advanced Tactics" indicator you are referring to is just getting released for Metatrader as well which is very helpful. If you change or add another platform we will extend your license to that so no, you will not have to pay again. Thanks.

Hello,
I have been looking at the UMT live in Florida beginning of February, which seems interesting.

Could you please confirm, whether the net price $ 2995 also include the purchase price of the UMT system to be installed on my own laptop during the live course?

Kind regards
Jens Larsen
Denmark

NetPicks Reply: Jens, hello. Yes, that's correct - you do get everything including the full course and all the software indicators. They can be installed if you bring a laptop - in fact, we'll get you the installation instructions ahead of time since people sometimes like to have that done before the course starts. That's no problem. If you have other questions feel free to email us or call. Thanks.

Hello.
Do you offer managed accounts?

NetPicks Reply: Not at the current time. We are focusing exclusively on empowering traders to master this strategy and not have to rely on anyone else with their trading. Perhaps something we'll consider in the future but for now it's all about teaching and supporting the UMT strategy. Thanks.
